F/Scorpio/Trenton, IL
What is your astrological sign?
I know that I’m a Scorpio. I don’t know what that means. Hopefully it means that I’m interesting, but if you mess with me I will probably sting the sh*t out of you.
What is your hometown?
Does a corn field count? I grew up in a house next to a cornfield. I am not a farmer.
Tell me about your most embarrassing moment.
I have no shame.
What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
A pen and paper. Even with all the technologly, my favorite thing to do is sit down and write. I write songs, poems, and just short paragraphs on all the things that are going on in my head. Writing cures my stress, sadness, and let’s me relive the best moments.
What is your current pop culture obsession?
I am completely obsessed with The Walking Dead. I think I cry, curse, or have small heart attacks during every episode. There is also a talk show about the walking dead that airs after each new episode and features three special guests. It sometimes appears that there will only be two guests. This is a lie, grab the tissues. If you don’t know what TWD is, please go educate yourself.
Do you have any special interests?
I still love to play softball. I played at college on a full ride scholarship. Now I play with some local “beer leagues” on occasion. Those games are much more interesting.
What is your favorite night spot.
I typically enjoy a soft, comfortable setting with different shades of light flashing before my eyes. I.e. Netflix and Chill.
What do you do for fun?
I love to paint, but I don’t always have a lot of time or space to do it. So I have taken to painting sets of fake nails from pretty and chic, to wild and crazy, to holiday themes. If I can ever stop wearing them myself, I would like to be able to start an Etsy shop where I can sell them.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Every so often I find myself looking at the furniture in my house and getting an overwhelming feeling to move it. I love to rearrange furniture! It’s so exciting and rewarding, and makes it look like I tried really hard that day even though the dishes aren’t even done. The possibilities are endless! So are the stubbed toes.
